Many of the features built by Drystone Designs are a combination of both the customer’s and Nigel’s ideas – with a bit of imagination a simple idea for a barbeque constructed from stone can be transformed into a themed feature that will draw the eye and delight visitors. A rustic arched stone bridge or a simple garden fireplace can become a feature to remember… there are many ideas. A small hump could be built into an otherwise straightforward garden wall or retaining wall, with perhaps a small sheep butt added at one end.
A drystone wall or feature should be visually appealing. A garden design in stone will add interest and depth and will use a material that will last for ever. By using weathered stone a new feature can be made to look as if it has been there for many years. The view from a house should have points of interest and offer enticing glimpses of unusual designs.
